“We might damage the image Fin.K.L. used to have.”
That’s what Kpop singer and musical actress Ock Joo-hyun had to say when asked about the possibility of a reunion of the pop group Fin.K.L. The former members of Fin.K.L. are Lee Hyori, Lee Jin, Sung Yuri and Ock Joo-hyun.
In an interview with Sportsworld on June 6, Ock Joohyun said, “All the former members of Fin.K.L. are successfully building their own careers in their respective fields. After we went our seperate ways, we haven’t worked as Fin.K.L. for quite a long time, so there will be too many things for us to prepare, so realistically , that is impossible.”
When asked whether there will be a possibility for Fin.K.L. to have a special concert to celebrate their tenth anniversary this year, Ock added: “We might damage the reputation and image fans used to have and remember of Fin.K.L.”
The pop diva however said she is very grateful during the time she has worked and stayed as a member of Fin.K.L.
She concluded: “We (Fin.K.L. members) cannot forget how grateful we are to those who helped us in so many ways when we were a part of Fin.K.L. because we cannot deny that we are all ‘Made in Fin.K.L.’”

The group did make a brief comeback at the end of 2005, as they released a digital single titled Fine Killing Liberty that had 4 songs (including the title track) and a music video. However, due to lack of promotion (as the group did not perform on the various music shows), the single failed to chart. Instead of ignoring the single, though, they have since released a special Fin.K.L. Forever set that had two DVDs (one with their music videos and the other with various performances) and a photobook that also had the Fine Killing Liberty single in CD form.
Ock Joo-hyun has just released her third solo album ‘Remind’ on the 13th and the first single of her song is titled ‘Honey’.
Hmmm, its a shame that the group won’t be getting together for a 10th year anniversary reunion and I hope the girls can check their egos and get back together this year. Check out Fin.K.L.’s last reunion and comeback song Fine Killing Liberty below.
