Now You Can Have Rain… As a LEGO Speed Racer

Lego, the world renowned Dutch toy maker, has revealed mini figurines for the the characters appearing in the movie “Speed Racer” which will be shown in theaters this April 2008. As you’ve guessed it, Rain will also have his very own mini figure likened after his character in the said movie.

The “Speed Racer” Lego figures include Speed, his fiancèe Trixie, Racer X, and Taejo Togokan who are  played by Emile Hirsh, Christina Ricci, Matthew Fox and Rain respectively. Based on the classic animation series created film animator Tatsuo Yoshida, Speed Racer is being directed by the Wachowski brothersi

The Lego toy “Taejo Togokan and Racer X” set is composed of 237 LEGO bricks. The car and figure design are faithfully detailed from the movie. Rain’s figure is dressed in a white race suit with a red dragon ablaze on it. More significantly however is that for the first time, the Korean alphabet Hangul will be printed on the side of the toy car with the words “Togokan Motors”.

For fans who can’t get enough of Rain, this is possibly the closest thing as to having Rain with you wherever you will go. =) You must however shelve out around US$20.00 (19.99 to be extact) to get it.
