Lee Hyori Visits China for Hyundai i30

Korean pop singer Lee Hyori will leave for China on Wednesday to attend a showcase for the launching of Beijing Hyundai Motor Company’s i30, according to her agency.

Some 200 media companies and Chinese VVIPs, including the mayor of Beijing, will attend the event held today, Mnet media said in a press release.

At the event, Hyundai will launch its new i30 model and Lee will showcase song “I Only Love You” which was used in the commercial for the car, explained Mnet.

The showcase is set to take place at the Beijing Science and Technology University Gymnasium and will introduce two versions of the commercial — a photographer theme in blue and the dancing queen-concept in red.

The teaser spot for the commercial, released on August 17, was reportedly seen by more than five million people on sina.com and sohu.com, two major portals in China.
