Kim Dong-wan Makes Secret Donation to China

On the KBS1 TV show Love Request (Korean: 사랑의 리퀘스트), Kpop singer and actor Kim Dong-wan revealed that he donated KRW 20 million (roughly US$ 20,000) for the relief efforts of Sichuan residents in China who are suffering from the recent deadly earthquake that struck the province.

During the show, the Shinhwa member said: “I learned of the earthquake in Sichuan, China through the media and because the situation looks severe, I wanted to share my own sorrow with the victims of the earthquake not as a celebrity but as an ordinary person.”

Kim Dong-wan, who is known famously for his singing skills and good humor, is topping the list of various music charts with the debut of his 2008 single Secret of his new second album. Actress Kim Min-sun appears in the MV below.
