Jumong Star Song Il-Gook In Trouble?

Korean actor Song Il-gook of Jumong fame is being sued by a woman reporter who is seeking damages and medical support after she was reportedly being hit in the face by the actor during an attempted interview. According to the plaintiff, she was waiting for Mr. Song last January 17 in front of his house at 9 in the evening. She wanted to interview him about his planned engagement and possibly future wedding plans. News reports says that when Mr. Song arrived, he immediately went straight to his home but before he can get inside, the reporter tried grabbing Mr. Song’s arm. Its not known what happened after this but according to the plaintiff, she testified that her face was hit by the actor’s elbow and the force of the hit was so strong that three of her front teeth were damaged (1 tooth allegedly fell off) . Mr. Song denies hitting her and says that he didn’t even see the reporter come up to him and claims that he is the victim of this scandal.

The reporter is now seeking six months of paid medical support from Song Il-gook due to his alleged actions. The actor says that the reporter is lying for when she first sent him her first medical bills it stated that she only needed 2 weeks of paid medical support. However, the reporter got a second doctor’s opinion and the medical support stretched to 4 weeks. Now however, the reporter claims that for her to be fully healed from her injuries, she would need a total of 6 months of paid medical support.

The reporter has now hired an attorney and is suing Mr. Song for damages plus medical support. Mr. Song is reportedly going the same route and is counter-suing to repair his name and honor.
