Happy Lunar New Year! Korea Celebrates 2009 (the Year of the Ox)

Another day and another new lunar year is upon us! We wish everyone a happy, safe and lucky new year and we hope that this year will be better than the one before! As they say in Korean: 새해복많이 받으세요 (Sae-hae-bok-mani-ba-du-sae-yo)!

The girls of Girls’ Generation have just released their latest single Gee and Boys Over Flowers star Lee Min-ho has been heating up the winter nights in Korea so I thought it was appropriate to have them all greet everyone in their traditional Korean hanbok outfits.

Hmmm, now where did I put those yummy rice cakes….
