Wonder Girls have become the first Korean singer to put their name on the Billboard main chart. Their biggest hit, ?Nobody,? released in the United States in June placed 76th in the Hot 100 Billboard chart for the third week of October.
One of Korea?s hottest girl groups has been staying in the U.S. to work their overseas career. From June through August the five girls have opened for the Jonas Brothers in their North American tour. The girls have also attended the Teen Choice Awards in August and appeared in various radio and TV shows. The highest any Korean singer rose in the Billboard main chart before Wonder Girls was 127th by BoA with her first American debut album ?BoA? in March.
Meanwhile, Wonder Girls are back in Korea, returning from the United States Thursday morning. They have concerts in China slated for later this year.
