Hallyuwood (Korean: 한류우드) is the informal term popularly used to describe the entertainment industry in Korea and the Korean Wave sweeping the world. The term Hallyuwood is now acknowledged by the worldwide media and is even part of the Korean vernacular.

Hallyuwood is one of the largest entertainment producers in Asia and has a sizable presence in the world.

Like Hollywood in the US, Hallyuwood has a real physical place located in the Gyeonggi Province in the city of Ilsan (around 40 minutes from Seoul). Hallyuwood is a place where visitors will be able to discover, celebrate and enjoy all forms of Asian entertainment and pop culture. We hope this modest blog will serve as a bridge to help inform and entertain anyone who is interested about Korean entertainment and culture.
